Education Background
 Wang She-jiao, male, from Tongcheng, Anhui Province, Doctor of History. Since graduated from Institute for Historical Geographical Studies of Shaanxi Normal University in June 1991, he has been working in the same university until now. Currently, he is the dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Northwest Institute of Historical Environment and Socio-Economic Development of Shaanxi Normal University.
For a long time, Prof. Wang Shejiao devotes himself to the teaching, scientific research and editing academic journals in the field of historical geography and environmental change in China. He also pays special attention to regional historical geography, historical agriculture geography and historical rural geography.
His main academic positions are: Chairman of Xi'an Historical Geography Society, Vice-Chairman of Historical Geography Committee of Geographic Society of China, Council Members of China Ancient Capitals Society, Council Members of Shaanxi Historical Society, Standing Director of Shaanxi Population Society, Standing Director of Shaanxi Scientific and Technological History Society, Vice-Editor of Journal of Chinese Historical Geography, Editorial Board of Historical Geography, etc.
In 2002, he was selected into the Excellent Young Teachers Program of Ministry of Education. In 2015, he was awarded the "Sanqin Talent Allowance" in Shaanxi Province.
