Prof. Zhao Zhongshu served as the deputy director of China Urban Planning Society History City Academic Committee. He engaged in the protection of historical and cultural city. He is the principal framers of The Planning Norms of Historical and Cultural Cities Protection and participate in writing The Interpretation of Historical and Cultural Cities and Towns Protection Regulations.
