Since 1950, significant changes have taken place in economic history research, the academic movement known as the "new economic history revolution" drived economists applying economic theory to study historical problems.However, new economic history or history of econometrics, are not only will change the economic historyas a field of economics,but found the direction that economic theory must increase after through historical problems. The system is new fruit of new economic history analysisWe will study the development through the theory of economics history structure, understand the function which New Institutional Economics provides of institutional analysis of historical research.
Reporting process also will discuss a series of issues, how to use the major turning point of economics theory and method analysis in economic history, as well as the industrial revolution, the historical logic of economic change, the ripple effects of the revolution, the enlightenment to the present; And research on the historical institutional analysis problem from the perspective of economic history and so on.

Ruey-hua Liu ,Professor and Dean of National Tsing Hua University's Department of economics, graduated from the University of Washington in economics, Has learned from the American economic historian, the winner of the Nobel Prize on economy, Professor North.He has taught at National Tsing Hua University's Department of economics since 1991.The academic areas of expertise include new institutional economics, economic history, political economics, cultural economics and so on..
