Seeking a Balance of Cultural Heritage Tourism: the Case of Qi Great Wall

Speaker Profile:
Professor Ma Bo was from Sui De , Shaanxi, who borned in 1966 and graduated from Shaanxi Normal University and got a Ph.D. in 1993. He is the dean of the School of Tourism and Geographical Sciences now at Qingdao University, a doctoral tutor, and as chairman of the Professional Committee of China for regional tourism development. Meantime, he is an adjunct professor at Beijing International Studies University, and the editorial of Tourism Science, members of the tourism planning expert advisory committee of Shandong Province, members of the Committee of Experts on urban planning in Qingdao and Qingdao Tourism Expert Committee. He is also a vice president of the Laoshan Culture Research Association and other duties. He published more than 70 papers and 30 academic essays, just 3 books. Also, he has presided over the researchs about 24, and won provincial awards results 6 times. He is one of the young academic leaders of Shandong Province, who won Qingdao’s professional technical talents and others honors.
