  1. Professor Wu Jiang introduces the spatial database of the University of Arizona and the research of Chinese Buddhist Geography.

    Wu Jiang received master degree of Chinese Philosophy in Nankai University in 1994 and Doctoral degree of Religion in Harvard University in 2002. Under the guidance of Du Weiming and Robert Gimello, he specialized in the History of 17th-century Chinese Religion. Currently he is a professor in the department of East Asian Studies at University of Arizona (Tucson). His publications include Enlightenment in Dispute: The Reinvention of Chan Buddhism in Seventeenth-century China,and Leaving for the Rising Sun: Chinese Zen Master Yinyuan and the Authenticity Crisis in Early Modern East Asia. Also he has published a number of academic papers.
