Ōsawa Masaaki was born in 1948 in Sendai, Dr. agronomy Kyoto University. Department of Literature is currently a professor at Sophia University. Research areas of social and economic history、 agricultural history of  Tang and Song dynasties in China. He has made important influence on Tang and Song economic geography and social development, the ancient agricultural books and agricultural history of change and he is a Japanese historians Kyoto School Mesozoic leader. His main works are "Chen Fu＇s agricultural books on Research " (1993)、 "Tang and Song reform stage agricultural social history research" (1997)、" Family,Marriage,Women of Tang and Song Dynasties " (2005)、 "The advocation of the Southern Song Dynasty magistrates "(2015) and the like.
