Title of Lecture: A Study of Luo Tianxiang’s Life Experience in the Yuan Dynasty

Abstract: Academic circles kown a little about the life experience of Luo Tianxiang who was the author of the general cyclopedia of Chang’an Zhi（《类编长安志》） in the Yuan Dynasty. By verifying the stele of the Yuan Dynasty, we could find some new conclusions about the life experience of Luo Tianxiang. Before become a confucianism educational officer（儒学教授）, he was an assistant of confucianism educational officer（学正） in Jingzhao Lu（京兆路）. He had the experience of taking post in Dadu（大都） as a junior rank of ordinary official in the Administration of Heavenly Observatory（司天台）. In Zhiyuan thirteenth year, Luo Tianxiang came back to his hometown with Zhaobing, who was the governor of Jingzhao Lu, for taking part in site selection of the Prince Anxi’s palace.
